Axona

Axona is an AI-powered thinking partner designed to help users capture, connect, and reflect on their thoughts. Instead of simply storing notes, Axona actively engages with user input by extracting key concepts from each thought and weaving them into a dynamic knowledge graph. The platform aims to amplify personal thinking by surfacing connections to past ideas, generating new hypotheses through concept recombination, maintaining a queue of open questions for ongoing curiosity, and providing personalized insights into individual thinking patterns.

The tool operates without the need for folders, tags, or manual linking. Users can type or speak their thoughts, and Axona automatically identifies three to five core concepts per entry, linking them to existing nodes in the user's knowledge graph. This living network of ideas allows users to see relationships and patterns across their accumulated thinking. Axona also offers instant search across all thoughts and concepts using a search palette, and generates AI-powered summaries of each session, highlighting key themes, reasoning evolution, and actionable insights.

Collaboration is supported through features that allow sharing the knowledge graph with teammates, either in view or collaborative modes, turning individual thinking into a shared, interactive document. Voice input is integrated, enabling hands-free capture and processing of spoken ideas. Security is emphasized with end-to-end encryption using AES-256-GCM, ensuring that only the user can access their notes.

Axona is currently delivered as a web-based application and is free to use while in beta, requiring no credit card or subscription to get started.
