Axon

Axon provides non-custodial vault infrastructure designed for owners and operators managing fleets of autonomous AI agents. It addresses the need for secure, controlled access to on-chain payments by enabling agents to initiate transactions without ever holding or managing funds directly. The platform allows owners to deploy their own vaults, deposit USDC, and register bot addresses, ensuring only the owner can withdraw funds while bots are limited to signing payment intents.

A central feature of Axon is its policy engine, which lets operators configure per-bot spending limits, velocity windows, destination whitelists, and AI trigger thresholds without requiring contract redeployment. Bots sign EIP-712 structured payment intents with expiring deadlines, and a relayer handles gas estimation, transaction simulation, and on-chain execution. The relayer also verifies each transaction against spending policies and conducts AI-based verification for flagged transactions, using a three-agent LLM consensus approach that covers bytecode safety analysis, behavioral anomaly detection, and prompt injection detection.

Axon’s architecture separates intent signing from fund custody and execution. Bots never pay gas or hold keys to wallets with direct access to funds, reducing operational risk and exposure to compromised keys. The system supports synchronous on-chain settlement for bot-to-service payment walls via HTTP 402, enabling bots to pay for API access in real time. Axon operates on multiple chains, specifically Base and Arbitrum, using USDC as the base asset, and provides cross-chain bridging via CCTP in version 2.

Developers integrate Axon through SDKs and framework plugins compatible with tools such as LangChain, CrewAI, Mastra, Vercel AI SDK, ElizaOS, AutoGen, and PydanticAI. The platform is positioned as a control layer for the agentic economy, offering a combination of fleet treasury management, AI verification, and gasless bot payments.
