Material Notes

Material Notes is a text-based note-taking application designed for simplicity and privacy on Android devices. The app follows Material Design principles and stores all notes locally, with no internet permissions, ensuring that only the device owner can access the stored information. Users can create notes with a title and content, choosing between plain text, markdown, rich text, or checklist formats. Quick actions from the home screen allow for rapid note creation. The application offers several organizational features, such as searching through notes, sorting by date or title in either ascending or descending order, and displaying notes in either a list or grid view. Notes can be pinned or archived, and deleted notes are recoverable from the bin. Users can share text from other applications directly into a note, share notes as text, and export notes as JSON files either manually or automatically. Notes can also be exported in Markdown format, and previously exported notes can be imported back into the app. For data protection, the app allows locking the entire application, individual notes, or all notes associated with a particular tag. JSON exports can be encrypted for added security. Customization options include selecting the app language, choosing between light, dark, or black themes, and enabling a dynamic theme that adapts colors based on the device background.
