Forco Connector

Forco Connector is a free WordPress plugin that serves as the site-side half of Forco’s WordPress updates skill. It lets a Forco assistant build and update pages on a WordPress site, including builder-native pages, through a single authenticated route.

The plugin exists because WordPress core’s built-in REST API can edit ordinary posts and pages, but cannot write the data behind a page builder like Elementor. Forco Connector closes that gap by providing one narrowly scoped write path so Forco can create and update builder data cleanly. It mints its own private key when activated, and Forco uses that key instead of the site owner’s admin login or password. Each request is authenticated and rate-limited, and the plugin backs up an existing page before overwriting it so the design can be restored if needed.

Forco describes the connector as having no outbound connections. It does not phone home, load remote code, or send site data anywhere on its own; it only receives the page changes Forco sends it. The plugin can be deactivated or deleted at any time, which revokes access immediately. It is also described as least-privilege by design: it cannot touch WordPress core, the database, or wp-config.php, and it is not a general-purpose code or file endpoint.
