CMPly

CMPly is a WordPress plugin that connects sites to the CMPly.app service. It addresses the need for cookie consent management, consent records, and consent-based script blocking on WordPress websites.

The plugin prints the CMPly SDK in the public head section at a very early priority without defer or async attributes to support blocking of third-party scripts before execution. It includes a connect button that uses a short-lived signed callback state and a single-use server-to-server authorization code. Account plan and monthly pageview usage details are synchronized from the service on connect and verification. Configuration occurs in the Settings greater than CMPly section with a site ID field.

Delivery options encompass auto-inject mode or manual embed mode for the SDK. The SDK loads over HTTPS from the official CMPly.app service. An optional SDK version query parameter supports cache busting. Language override is available with automatic browser-language detection as the default. URL path exclusions with wildcard support are provided. Editable Google Consent Mode v2 settings cover global and regional configurations.
