AffiliateWP – Sign Up Bonus

AffiliateWP – Sign Up Bonus is an add-on for AffiliateWP, a WordPress affiliate marketing plugin. This tool is designed to help website owners attract more affiliates by awarding a sign up bonus when new affiliates register through the AffiliateWP registration form or are manually added from the admin area. The primary goal is to make affiliate registration more appealing by offering a reward that is visible to the affiliate in their dashboard.

The sign up bonus is implemented as a referral with a description of "Sign Up Bonus" and can be viewed by administrators in the Affiliates → Referrals screen. Affiliates themselves see this bonus reflected in the "Unpaid Earnings" and "Referrals" sections of their affiliate dashboard. 7 or higher, administrators can enable or disable the bonus and set a custom amount on a per-affiliate basis when manually adding affiliates. If the "Require approval" option is enabled in AffiliateWP's settings, the bonus is only awarded after the affiliate's application is approved. Similarly, when adding an affiliate with a "pending" status, the bonus is not created until approval is granted.

This add-on is intended for site owners using AffiliateWP on WordPress who wish to incentivize new affiliate registrations. It integrates directly with the AffiliateWP plugin and leverages its referral tracking and affiliate management features.
