Zencoder is an AI-powered coding agent designed to orchestrate code and work across various environments. Its platform utilizes multiple AI models for different phases of software development, such as planning, building, and reviewing code. For planning, it leverages reasoning models to generate specifications and architectural decisions; for building, it uses fast models to implement code according to these specifications; and for reviewing, it employs separate models to conduct tests, linting, and code reviews, ensuring that every change is thoroughly vetted.

The tool introduces agent-based autonomy and orchestration, allowing agents to plan, build, test, and verify code across entire codebases. Its Zenflow Code App offers pre-built workflows for tasks like feature development, bug fixes, and refactoring, with agents executing specifications in parallel and verifying results before user review. Users can define custom workflows, and the platform supports parallel execution across files, modules, and repositories in isolated environments. Scheduled automation is available for routine tasks such as bug triage, pull request reviews, and dependency updates. Beyond code, Zencoder's Zenflow Work App enables goal-driven automation across over 100 tools, including Jira, Slack, Notion, Gmail, and Calendar. Agents can handle tasks such as standup briefs, release notes, and meeting preparation by pulling context from connected tools, drafting deliverables, and routing them for review. Work intake is automated from platforms like Linear, Jira, or GitHub, initiating agent activity as soon as new tickets arrive. Communication with agents is facilitated through channels like Slack, Telegram, or Discord, allowing users to start tasks, receive updates, and follow up within the same conversation. The platform also supports file handling, enabling preview and editing of formats such as PPTX, PDF, XLSX, and DOCX.
