Xtreme Courses is a learning management system (LMS) plugin designed for WordPress, enabling users to build and sell online courses directly from their WordPress sites. The tool addresses the needs of instructors, course creators, and site administrators who want to offer structured online learning, manage student enrollment, and track course performance. It features a React-based drag-and-drop course builder that allows users to organize content into sections and lessons, reorder modules, and preview courses as students would see them, all within the WordPress admin interface.

The plugin integrates with WooCommerce, allowing courses to be sold as products with options for single purchases, subscriptions, or bundled enrollments. Students are automatically enrolled upon payment and can be unenrolled if a refund is issued. Xtreme Courses includes a quiz engine supporting multiple-choice, true/false, and short-answer questions, with per-question scoring, configurable pass thresholds, retake limits, and instant result display. Upon course completion, students can receive auto-generated PDF certificates, which are customizable with details such as student name, course title, completion date, and instructor signature, and are downloadable from the student dashboard.

Gamification features are available, awarding XP points for completing lessons, passing quizzes, and finishing courses, with badges unlocked at milestones and student rankings displayed on public leaderboards. Instructor analytics provide dashboards with data on enrollments, completion rates, average quiz scores, revenue, and student progress, with role-based access ensuring that instructors see their own data while admins have access to all data. Live lessons can be conducted via Zoom or Google Meet integrations, available in the Pro version.

Xtreme Courses operates on a freemium licensing model: the core plugin is free and covers basic course creation and enrollment, while Pro features—including certificates, gamification, live lessons, and analytics—are available with a paid upgrade starting at $99 per year. 4 or above. Security is addressed through nonce verification, role-based access controls, input sanitization, and output escaping throughout the platform.
