WPThemePrime Product Image Swap is a free, open-source plugin designed for WooCommerce stores on WordPress. It enables store owners to display a secondary product image when a visitor hovers over or taps on a product image, providing an enhanced product browsing experience on shop, category, home, and single product pages. Among its features, the plugin allows a unique secondary image to be uploaded for each product directly from the product editor's sidebar. If a secondary image is not set, it automatically uses the first image from the product's WooCommerce gallery, requiring no additional setup for existing stores. The plugin offers eight built-in animation styles for image swapping, including fade in/out, slide up, slide down, slide left, slide right, zoom in, zoom out, and an instant swap with no animation. When the plugin is uninstalled, all settings and product metadata are fully removed from the database, leaving no residual data.
