GS Watchfaces

GS Watchfaces is a Wear OS toolset for turning a smartwatch into an information dashboard. It centers on a custom data complication that can combine nearly any value in a single slot, including current temperature, custom text, and tide height.

Its watch-side features focus on display and interaction. Tap actions can be set to launch any app, shortcut, or specific activity, and the interface uses the Iconify library for icon choices. The site also highlights a set of information features for the watch itself: weather forecasts, tide data for surfing, fishing, or boating, air quality, health metrics such as steps, heart rate, calories, distance, and floors climbed, and astronomy data for the sun and moon. Visual presentation can be adjusted with nine predefined color themes or a Material 3 dynamic theme that matches app colors to the wallpaper.

A companion phone app is described as a standalone tool rather than only a settings screen. It can show weather, tides, sun, and moon data even when the watch is not connected, and it includes a shortcut editor for choosing specific app activities to launch from the watch. The phone app is also presented as a place to manage watch settings, complications, and tiles, with a layout that is optimized for standard and foldable phones.

GS Watchfaces is offered free to start, with additional features available through Premium. Premium is sold as a monthly subscription with a 3-day free trial, a yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial, or a lifetime license as a one-time purchase.
