Velorn

Velorn is an open-source AI video workstation for ComfyUI creators. It is built for the full production flow rather than one-off clip generation, combining direction, generation, asset management, timeline editing, polish, and final delivery in a single creative timeline. The product was formerly called ComfyStudio.

Its workflow centers on AI-assisted editing and project organization. Velorn can generate shots, shape edits, and inspect sequences inside a real timeline. Generated media lands where the edit, effects, captions, and export live, and the timeline supports trimming, moving, layering, captioning, adding effects, and organizing assets. The app keeps AI outputs attached to the edit instead of scattering them across folders. It also supports director-led generation for ads, music videos, short films, keyframes, and custom ComfyUI workflows using project-aware prompts and references.

Velorn is described as ComfyUI-native and can bring local, cloud, and hybrid workflows into one project. For local generation, it talks to a local ComfyUI server and can help launch it; cloud workflows are available for premium models, low-VRAM machines, or specialty tasks. Outputs from different models can be mixed in the same timeline and exported from one project. The Velorn Bridge can send API workflow graphs from ComfyUI back into Velorn. It is also MCP-ready, allowing connected agents such as Codex and Claude Code to inspect projects, preview timeline edits, prepare generation, add graphics, check media, and help package delivery exports.

The download page offers a desktop app through GitHub Releases, with Windows installer and portable builds, signed macOS DMGs for Apple Silicon and Intel when published, and Linux AppImage and deb packages. The site says Velorn is open source and in active development.
