Upleus

Upleus is an uptime and SSL monitoring service that tracks websites, TCP ports, cron jobs, SSL certificates, domain expiry, WordPress sites, and Shopify stores. It sends alerts the moment an issue occurs so operators learn of problems before their users do.

The service offers six monitor types. HTTP monitoring checks a URL every three minutes, records the status code and response time, and issues a down alert quickly. TCP monitoring verifies reachability of specific ports such as those used by databases, Redis, or SSH. Heartbeat monitoring lets cron jobs or scripts ping the service on completion; if the expected signal does not arrive within the configured interval or grace period, an alert is sent. SSL and domain expiry alerts are delivered 30, 7, and 1 day before expiration. WordPress monitoring performs daily security scans that detect outdated core software, abandoned plugins, XML-RPC exposure, directory listing, login page risk, and automatically flags abandoned, outdated, or delisted plugins. Shopify monitoring automatically identifies password mode, maintenance mode, and cart API failures.

Alerts consist of two instant emails per incident, one for the outage and one for recovery. Each project receives a shareable public status page, and incident history records every outage with start time, end time, and duration. Monitors can be grouped into projects, allowing client-specific status pages and direct email alerts to clients. Heartbeat integration requires only a single cURL, Python, Node.js, or Ruby line at the end of any script; the last 30 check-ins are visible in the dashboard. Setup involves pasting a URL or entering host and port details with no agents, SDKs, or infrastructure changes required.

Upleus is delivered as a web-based application. The free plan provides five monitors with all six types, a three-minute check interval for applicable monitors, SSL and domain expiry alerts, WordPress security scanning, Shopify health checks, email alerts, and public status pages per project. No credit card is required and the free tier has no time limit.
