Steam Helper is a browser extension designed for users of Steam, with a particular focus on those who manage inventories, trade, or buy and sell items related to Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) and other Steam games. The tool integrates directly into Steam Community pages, providing immediate enhancements such as inventory value tracking, market price comparisons, and streamlined trade management without the need to open external dashboards or tabs.

Once installed on Chrome, Edge, Brave, Firefox, or other Chromium-based browsers, Steam Helper automatically becomes active without requiring an account or additional configuration. It adds a panel to Steam profile and inventory pages, displaying both Steam's reference value and the real market value of the user's inventory, as well as a count of how many items have been priced. Quick-sell options are available, enabling users to undercut the lowest market price or set their own price in just a couple of clicks. The extension also helps manage active listings by displaying the lowest market price for each item, allowing for batch updates or cancellations. For items like Doppler and Gamma Doppler skins, Steam Helper tags the specific phase in the listing and provides filtering options by phase.

In the context of trading, Steam Helper evaluates both sides of a trade, displaying a clear profit-or-loss summary with per-item prices and float values. Incoming trade offers are annotated with net value badges and detailed breakdowns, helping users quickly identify potentially unfair deals. All features are accessed natively within the Steam website, streamlining the process of managing, valuing, and trading digital items for Steam users.
