StarDash

StarDash organizes GitHub starred repositories into a functional developer workspace. It addresses the limitations of GitHub's native starred page by syncing repositories and layering on tags, collections, notes, AI analysis, contribution triage, and intent-based discovery so that saved projects remain usable over time.

The platform supports up to 5,000 repositories per sync pass and maintains a 24-hour client cache window. It provides six workflow statuses and allows filtering by notes, tags, status, language, and owner. Repository pages display cached README content alongside intelligence on maintenance health, community sentiment, release cadence, and adoption signals without opening additional tabs. A contribution workspace scans starred repositories for open issues, ranks them by relevance and quality using a blend of labels, recency, comments, and activity, then supplies AI-generated briefs. Each brief includes a summary, explanation of fit to user interests, suggested first steps, likely files to change, questions to ask, and a ready-to-copy prompt for coding assistants. Users can filter these opportunities by language, difficulty, contribution type, or text search over repository and issue titles.

Discovery operates through an intent-first search pipeline. A natural-language description is expanded into three to five targeted GitHub queries, candidates are fetched in parallel, duplicates are removed, and an AI reranking step assigns relevance scores with attached evidence notes before returning up to 24 results. The system supports both authenticated and public GitHub search modes. The entire interface appears in a curation dashboard that displays collections, search results, repository intelligence, and the contribution triage view.

StarDash is delivered as a web application that requires sign-in with GitHub. It is built for developers who treat stars as research notes, backlogs, evaluation queues, and long-term reference material.
