Smart Copy Pro is a browser extension designed to facilitate unlimited text copying and advanced formatting across a wide range of websites. It addresses the challenges of copying large volumes of text, such as entire books, articles, or code files, by removing word and character limits and providing a visual progress indicator for large texts exceeding 500KB or even 100MB. The tool is compatible with Chrome and Firefox browsers and has been tested to work on over 10,000 platforms, including major sites like Shutterstock, Getty Images, Canva, Figma, and environments using iframes or shadow DOM.

Among its features, Smart Copy Pro offers over 40 customizable and animated button styles, such as Cyberpunk, Steampunk, Hologram, Matrix, and Neon, allowing users to personalize the extension’s interface. The extension includes an AI-powered smart formatting engine that preserves embedded links, removes unnecessary whitespace, and adds source attribution to copied content. Additional functionalities include copy history management, which saves up to 500 entries along with timestamps, source URLs, and word counts, as well as a snippet manager for reusable text. Productivity shortcuts are available, such as keyboard commands (Ctrl+1 or ⌘+1), double-click copy, auto-copy mode, and the option to hide the floating button.

The extension also features a sponsor program with non-intrusive messages that can be disabled in the settings. Sponsor notifications may provide exclusive font discount codes and allow users to track impressions and clicks in a stats panel. Smart Copy Pro is open source, distributed under the MIT License, and is free to use.
