Slople is a daily browser-based game that challenges players to rewrite a provided human sentence so that it appears as machine-generated as possible. The core objective is to transform the original sentence in a way that maximizes its "machine-likeness" according to an AI detector, while preserving all names, numbers, the original meaning, and a similar length. Only rewrites that meet these criteria and are in English prose are accepted.

Each day, participants are given a new sentence to rewrite and are allowed three scored attempts. After each attempt, the game assigns a machine-likelihood score from 0 to 100%, indicating how likely the AI detector believes the sentence was written by a chatbot. Players can lock in their preferred attempt at any time, or the third attempt will be automatically submitted. The game visually distinguishes between machine-leaning and human-leaning fragments in the rewrites, with red indicating machine-like and green indicating human-like text. Players can edit their attempts by clicking on specific fragments.

The scoring system categorizes results into grades: under 10% is considered still human, 10% and up is a pass, 25% and up is competent machine-like writing, 42% and up would be flagged as machine-written at the default detector setting, and 84% and up is "CERTIFIED SLOP," flagged even at the strictest setting. The game provides tips for maximizing machine-likeness, such as using AI buzzwords and certain formal phrases.

Slople is delivered through a web interface and does not mention any pricing, licensing, or account requirements. It is designed for users interested in language, AI detection, and the nuances of machine-generated text, offering a reverse Turing test experience judged by the Unslop-MoE-v7 AI model.
