It incorporates a timeline slider, allowing users to filter and browse historical events by specific years, spanning from ancient times to the modern era.

A key feature of HistorySphere is its integration with Wikipedia and verified historical databases, offering detailed and regularly updated information for each location. Users can access in-depth articles and verified data, with all content cross-referenced for accuracy. The platform also includes community-driven stories, enabling users to read and share personal historical experiences, with contributions moderated for quality and appropriateness.

Augmented reality (AR) capabilities are available, providing 3D reconstructions and guided tours of historical sites for a more immersive experience. These AR features require ARKit-compatible devices on iOS (iPhone 6S and newer) or ARCore-compatible devices on Android.
