X Downloader

X Downloader is a browser-based tool for saving public X and Twitter media. It extracts MP4 video files in available qualities, converts videos to MP3 audio locally, processes up to ten post links in one batch, and generates high-resolution PNG screenshots of posts that include text, media, author, date, and engagement data.

The service addresses the need to obtain copies of public X posts without accounts or installed software. Users copy a public post URL, paste it into the site, and select from exposed MP4 options for direct download. Video files stream to a local folder in supported browsers. MP3 creation occurs entirely on the user's device at 192 kbps bitrate with no server upload of the source video. Screenshot rendering produces a clean PNG that captures the full visible content and metadata of the post.

It operates as a single web page that requires no signup and no application installation. A Chrome extension is also available. The tool limits itself to public posts only and resolves bounded batches of up to ten links at once. It presents quality choices for each video and offers straightforward three-step instructions for video saving.
