MC Status by MrDino is a WordPress plugin designed to display the status of a Minecraft server on a website. It allows site administrators to present a modern status card for their server, with the basic mode functioning without the need for any additional Minecraft plugins. The tool is intended for WordPress site owners who wish to provide real-time or near real-time server information directly on their pages.

Key features include customizable server display options such as setting the server IP (numeric or domain), server port, and cache interval. Users can tailor the widget's appearance by enabling or disabling elements like a credit link, custom server name, server IP and port display, server MOTD (Message Of The Day), and a server banner with support for custom image or GIF URLs. The plugin also offers player list display with configurable maximum players shown, player count display options, and the ability to adjust the number of player cards per row. A global dark mode is available to change the appearance of all widgets.

The plugin provides two shortcodes: one for displaying the main server interface and another for showing the list of players. These shortcodes can be inserted into any WordPress page to embed the server status or player information. Currently, the plugin supports displaying only one server at a time.
