SEO Machine

SEO Machine is an open-source Claude Code workspace for research, writing, analysis, and optimization of long-form blog content. It addresses the need for articles that rank in search results while serving their intended audience.

The tool supplies custom commands including /research, /write, /rewrite, /analyze-existing, and /optimize to manage stages of the content lifecycle. Seven specialized AI agents handle distinct roles: SEO optimizer, meta creator, internal linker, keyword mapper, editor, and performance analyzer. Its analysis capabilities cover search intent detection, keyword clustering, readability scoring, and a 0-100 SEO quality rating that includes actionable recommendations.

Data integrations supply real-time information from Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and DataForSEO. Customizable context files preserve brand voice, style guides, and SEO guidelines. The workspace organizes material into dedicated directories for topics, research, drafts, rewrites, and published content.

Operation follows three steps. The /research command performs keyword analysis, competitor research, and produces content briefs. The /write command generates articles of 2000-3000 or more words that retain the specified brand voice. The /optimize command applies final data-driven SEO adjustments.

It is built on Anthropic's AI platform, incorporates Python for content analysis, and is distributed under the MIT License. The project was created by Craig Hewitt and is hosted on GitHub, where users can clone the repository, customize it, and contribute.
