Runlayer

Runlayer is a platform designed to provide companies with centralized control, security, and enablement for deploying and managing AI agents across multiple teams and workflows. It addresses the challenges organizations face when employees rapidly adopt AI agents, such as governance, security, and visibility, by offering a unified system for access, policy enforcement, and audit. Runlayer is intended for enterprises rolling out AI agents across engineering, security, IT, operations, and business departments, ensuring that all teams follow a consistent path for agent usage and oversight.

The platform includes features such as an AI control plane for securing and controlling agent activities, shadow AI discovery to surface unmanaged agents and provide visibility into every agent session, and governance tools to manage agent access and actions based on identity, budget, OAuth grants, and runtime conditions. Real-time security models scan tool calls, outputs, intent, and sensitive data before any risky actions reach company systems. Runlayer also enables organizations to monitor AI usage, costs, adoption, and agent activity, tying spending back to specific teams and workflows.

Runlayer allows companies to start with a large catalog of over 18,000 MCPs (machine control points) and to add or approve internal MCPs, making them available through a governed gateway compatible with major AI clients. It supports the packaging of internal APIs, workflows, and company knowledge as MCPs, skills, and plugins, which can be reused safely across the organization. Employees can create governed AI coworkers by describing desired tasks from their existing workspace, with Runlayer handling the creation and governance of agents, skills, memory, triggers, and permissions.

The platform integrates with existing identity providers, approved tools, MCP servers, and AI clients, allowing teams to continue using preferred products while benefiting from centralized controls. Runlayer is SOC 2 certified, HIPAA compliant, and GDPR compliant. It is developed by Anysource Inc.
