RockIt Link Health Monitor is a free WordPress plugin designed to help site administrators identify and manage broken links on their websites. The plugin operates through background crawling, utilizing WP-Cron to check site links in batches, which prevents timeouts on large sites and minimizes impact on visitor experience. Users can configure the number of pages to crawl—up to 200 by default, with the option to increase to 2,000—and specify domains to exclude from checks. The tool employs a two-tier link checking system: standard links are verified with real HTTP requests, providing exact status codes and error types, while links to major social platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others are flagged for manual review to avoid false positives, as these sites often block automated requests.

Results are presented in a filterable and searchable table within the WordPress admin interface, allowing users to sort links by status (Broken, Manual Check, or OK) and see the specific pages where problematic links were found. The plugin also offers the ability to export the results table to CSV at any time, supporting team collaboration or integration into other workflows. An optional email report feature notifies users when a crawl is complete, summarizing the findings. Crawls can be stopped at any time, with results preserved up to that point.

Installation is straightforward, either directly from the WordPress plugin repository or by manual upload. The plugin is built in pure PHP with no additional dependencies, ensuring compatibility with standard WordPress hosting environments, including shared hosting.
