PrivacyPirate is a free, open-source browser extension designed to protect users from online tracking and fingerprinting. It addresses the widespread issue of trackers following users across the web by blocking over 6,000 tracker domains, including analytics scripts, tracking pixels, and hidden iframes, before they can load. When blocking is not possible, the extension deploys fingerprinting defenses to keep users' identities hidden, making their devices appear different with each session.

The extension offers four selectable protection levels—Low, Moderate, High, and Extreme—allowing users to adjust settings per site, such as lowering protection for banking sites or increasing it for less trusted domains.
