PACE RISE : Node is a platform designed for managing and operating athletics competitions, with a particular focus on real-time event administration and results tracking. The tool enables users to monitor the progress and outcomes of various track, field, road, and combined events as they happen, providing immediate updates on records and rankings once competitions conclude. Event organizers can oversee the entire competition flow, from creating events and uploading participant lists to managing check-in procedures and entering results.

Key features include a dashboard for viewing the status of all events at a glance, direct links to event videos, and real-time updates delivered via Server-Sent Events so that any changes are instantly reflected across all connected devices. The platform supports barcode and bib number scanning for efficient athlete check-in, including relay team management and no-show processing. Organizers can input results in formats appropriate to each event type, such as seconds for track events, H:MM:SS for road events, and meters or attempt status for field events. For combined events, the platform can automatically calculate scores based on sub-event results. Results can be viewed by individual heats or as consolidated rankings, and can be exported in Excel, PDF, or PNG formats.

Administrative tools allow for the management of athletes, events, and heats, including adding, editing, or deleting entries, arranging heats, and associating video URLs. Data can be uploaded via Excel files, and the entire competition dataset can be backed up in JSON format. There are different levels of access for general operations and full administrative control, and individual operation keys can be assigned to judges to track their actions in system logs.

PACE RISE : Node is accessible via web browsers on both Android (Chrome) and iOS (Safari), with instructions for adding the platform to a device’s home screen for app-like access. The platform is aimed at event organizers, administrators, and officials involved in athletics competitions who require a centralized, real-time management solution.
