Opaline is a themed calendar application for iPhone that emphasizes visual customization and privacy. Designed for users who want a more engaging and personalized calendar experience, it offers over 20 themes ranging from minimal styles to vibrant options like Y2K neon, 8-bit pixel, terminal green, and animal-inspired designs. The app allows users to instantly restyle the calendar grid, event bars, fonts, and widgets with a single tap.

The platform features a Home Screen widget that displays the current month, and provides a matching lock-screen wallpaper that can show a monthly note without requiring the app to be opened. Opaline supports multiple calendar views, including month, week, and day, and users can adjust fonts, event bar styles, accent colors, and the week start day to suit their preferences. Additional functionality includes the ability to jot down a one-line intention for the month, create tickable to-do lists, and save frequently used events as quick templates.

Opaline integrates seamlessly with existing calendars on the iPhone, including those from Apple, iCloud, Google, and Outlook. There is no need to create a new account, perform data migration, or complete any setup process; all connected calendars appear automatically. The app is designed with privacy in mind, keeping events stored locally on the device and within the iOS calendar system, with no account registration or ad tracking involved.

The core app is free to use with the default theme. Additional themes can be purchased individually, in theme packs, or unlocked all at once with a one-time All Access purchase. Opaline does not use a subscription model. The app is developed by VyxWorks.
