OmniClip

OmniClip is a clipboard manager that maintains a persistent history on Windows PCs and synchronizes it wirelessly to Android phones over local WiFi. It addresses the need for cross-device clipboard access without cloud services or internet connectivity, keeping all data on the user's local network.

The tool syncs plain text, URLs, rich text, images including screenshots and copied photos, and files. Images appear with full-resolution previews on the Android app. It offers fast search across the entire history with filters for text, URLs, images, or favorites. Sensitive content such as passwords and tokens is automatically detected, encrypted at rest behind a master password, and unlocked via Windows Hello biometrics on the desktop; the Android companion supports additional PIN or fingerprint locking. Users can send the current phone clipboard to the PC with a single tap.

OmniClip runs entirely over local WiFi with no data leaving the devices. The desktop application is available through the Microsoft Store for automatic updates or as standalone portable executables that can operate in the background, minimize to the system tray, and launch at Windows startup. Access occurs via global hotkey, quick window, or tray icon. The Android companion is distributed as APKs in versions for modern 64-bit processors and older or budget 32-bit devices, covering a wide range of Samsung, Google Pixel, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Moto G models. A separate Kotlin Native version provides native performance and UI elements using Jetpack Compose. The interface includes eight themes with light and dark mode options.
