MyPetLogger is a mobile app designed as a private, comprehensive journal for pet owners to track and organize information about every companion animal in their household. Built specifically for iOS devices—including iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch—it supports a wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to birds, rabbits, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, and more. The app offers a polished interface for recording details such as species, breed, colors, markings, microchip information, sex, date of birth, photo, and notes for each pet, with an extensive picker covering over 100 dog breeds, 40 cat breeds, 34 bird species, and 44 small-animal breeds. MyPetLogger enables users to log medical records, including weight, vaccinations, medications, vet visits, grooming, surgery, allergies, deworming, and flea treatments, with each category having dedicated forms and lists. The app provides next-due countdowns, overdue alerts, medication schedules, weight history with locale-respecting units, and the ability to export records as PDFs for sharing with veterinarians. Walk tracking is integrated natively, allowing users to select pets for each walk, set goals, track routes with MapKit, and sync workouts to Apple Health, complete with pet metadata. The app supports Live Activities, Dynamic Island, and Siri integration for hands-free operation and automations, as well as Home Screen and Apple Watch widgets for quick actions like logging weight or starting a walk.

A Summary screen offers an overview of upcoming and overdue items, recent activity, and quick access to core features. The app also includes a map-based search for nearby pet-related services—such as vet clinics, parks, spas, stores, training, pet-friendly hotels, and shelters—with live autocomplete and integration with Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze for directions.

Privacy is central to MyPetLogger’s design: it requires no user accounts, has no proprietary servers, and collects no analytics or tracking data. All records are stored locally on the user’s device, with optional iCloud sync for private cloud-based backup. The app is free to start for up to two pets, with a paid upgrade to remove ads and unlock unlimited pet profiles and all features. A lifetime purchase option is available for those preferring a one-time payment.
