Monkey Marcos is a voice-to-text dictation tool for Windows that enables users to speak and have their words transcribed instantly into any application with a text input field. Designed to streamline workflows and eliminate the need for copying and pasting between tools, the platform types transcribed text directly as keystrokes wherever the cursor is focused, supporting a wide range of applications such as ChatGPT, VS Code, Slack, browsers, and email clients.

The tool features real-time transcription with latency under 300 milliseconds, creating the effect of live typing as the user speaks. Monkey Marcos operates without requiring plugins or integrations, and it does not interfere with the system clipboard. A distinguishing capability is its offline mode, powered by a locally running Whisper speech model, ensuring that audio data never leaves the user's device and enhancing privacy.
