MemberMagix is a WordPress plugin designed to provide server-side content protection and membership management for site owners seeking to build and grow online communities. Its core function is to restrict access to specific content, ensuring that protected material is never sent to the browser or exposed via the REST API, but instead is stripped server-side. This approach maintains the privacy of posts while keeping titles, excerpts, and featured images visible, preserving linkability and SEO benefits.

A notable feature of MemberMagix is its passwordless authentication system, which uses magic links. Site visitors can join by entering their email address; a time-limited, single-use link is sent to their inbox, granting access without the need for passwords. This process is designed for ease of use, with built-in honeypot and rate limiting for added security. Once authenticated, members remain signed in across visits until their session expires, making subsequent access to protected content seamless.

The plugin supports full integration with the Gutenberg block editor, allowing users to place a cutoff point within any post or page using a shortcode. There are no limits imposed on the number of posts, pages, or members, and all core content protection and community-building features are available in the free version.
