Mailcatcher also supports organizing emails by project, allowing for the separation of messages from different applications, and provides unlimited projects to accommodate varied workflows. Team collaboration is facilitated through granular permissions, enabling controlled sharing of test emails with developers, designers, or clients as needed.

Mailcatcher is delivered as a web-based service, requiring only a simple update to SMTP settings for integration with development environments. There is no need for complex setup, additional firewall rules, or container management. Security features include support for loading media files behind basic authentication, ensuring that sensitive assets remain protected during testing.

The tool offers a transparent pricing model with three tiers. The Free plan allows unlimited projects and users, up to 10 emails per project, 10 MB of email storage, and basic functionality such as HTML and text previews, and viewing headers and attachments. The Professional plan, priced at €20 per month, includes unlimited emails, 2 GB of storage, advanced user management, the ability to load private assets, and priority support. An Enterprise plan is available for large-scale requirements, offering usage-based pricing, Single Sign-On, custom branding, custom service level agreements, and dedicated support.
