Logto

Logto is an open-source authentication infrastructure for developers building SaaS, AI, and B2B applications. It addresses the repeated effort of implementing secure authentication by adding multi-tenancy, enterprise single sign-on, and role-based access control using OIDC, OAuth 2.1, and SAML protocols.

The platform supports a range of sign-in methods including passwordless authentication through one-time codes sent by email or SMS, social sign-in with providers such as Google, Apple, and Discord, and conventional password authentication. Multi-factor authentication options cover WebAuthn passkeys, authenticator apps, and backup codes. Logto integrates with more than 20 frameworks and libraries including Next.js, React.js, Vue.js, Android, Swift, Go, .NET Core, Nuxt, SvelteKit, Python, and Vanilla JS, along with a no-code option and a management API. It runs from local development to cloud environments and supports web, mobile, and multi-app scenarios. The service maintains SOC 2 Type II certification along with Argon2 password hashing, TLS encryption, database encryption, and data isolation. It offers self-hosting for the open-source version and a cloud deployment available in EU, Australia, US, and Japan regions.

Pricing provides 50,000 monthly active users at no cost on a token-based pay-as-you-go model. The infrastructure targets projects at any development stage from initial ideas and proofs of concept through single-app builds, multi-app structures, and enterprise sales. It is used by public companies, fast-growing startups, and government agencies.
