Locker Drop is an encrypted file transfer service for sending files through a browser link. It is described as zero-knowledge transfer, with encryption happening in the browser before the file leaves the sender’s machine and with the key never touching the service’s servers.

The service supports drag-and-drop upload or browsing local storage, then creates a shareable link. It offers expiration choices of 1 hour, 24 hours, 72 hours, or 7 days, along with a burn-after-first-download option and an optional encryption password. Links can be shared as many times as needed until expiry, and downloads are unlimited and free during that period. Once the transfer self-destructs, the encrypted payload is purged and is unrecoverable.

Locker Drop states that it has no size limit and can send anything from megabytes to petabytes, with the only ceiling being internet speed. It also says there is no account and no registration for either sender or recipient. The page names libsodium, XChaCha20-Poly1305, and Curve25519 as part of its audited cryptography, and says the decryption key travels in the link fragment rather than reaching its database or servers.
