Liuer Box

Liuer Box is a custom fields framework for WordPress. It provides a visual builder for creating field groups and stores data in native post, term, user meta, and options tables.

The plugin includes a visual field-group builder that allows users to add fields, drag to reorder them, and choose where the fields appear. No code is required for this process. It supports clean native storage where single fields occupy one native meta row, while complex fields such as repeater, gallery, or link are kept in a single JSON row. Global options are consolidated into one liuer_box_options row to keep the database small.

Twenty-two field types are available: text, textarea, number, email, url, password, range, select, checkbox, radio, button group, true/false, WYSIWYG, image, gallery, file, oEmbed, color, link, date/time, post object for selecting one or more posts of a chosen post type, and a nested repeater. Tab and Message layout fields are also included. Locations can be set for options pages.

The tool is delivered as a free plugin hosted in the official WordPress.org Plugin Directory. It has zero plugin dependencies.
