Kramata

Kramata merges multiple messy CSV or Excel files into one cleaned output. It addresses the repeated work of combining exports that arrive with inconsistent headers, duplicates, and formatting issues.

The application lets users build a reusable recipe of cleaning steps that can be applied to new batches with one click. Supported steps include removing duplicates, fixing dates, trimming spaces, splitting columns, flagging bad rows, merging data from a second spreadsheet by key, pivoting and grouping rows with sum count or average totals, unpivoting wide data into long form, and creating calculated columns. A live preview updates as steps are added. The tool automatically detects columns even when files have multi-row headers. Recipes ensure identical results each time without writing formulas or code.

Kramata runs entirely offline on the local computer so that no data is sent elsewhere. It is delivered as a free desktop application for Windows 10 and 11, available via direct download of an installer zip file. The product is presented as a spreadsheet cleanup utility that avoids the complexity of Excel operations such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and manual reshaping.
