PolicyStack

policystack.dev·Infrastructure·🇺🇸

PolicyStack supplies privacy and consent primitives for developers. It delivers small composable building blocks that allow teams to manage privacy and consent as code within their existing stack in the same manner as authentication, payments, or feature flags.

The components are version-controlled, testable, and prepared for use by AI agents. Configuration occurs through a TypeScript SDK that supports definition of company details, effective dates, supported jurisdictions such as eea and us-ca, data categories collected, purposes, lawful bases drawn from enumerated values including Contract and LegitimateInterests, retention periods, and provision statements that can be marked as contract prerequisites or voluntary. Cookie usage declarations for categories such as essential and analytics are also included in the configuration format.

It is presented as an open-source project at version 1. Delivery is through the policystack SDK package together with documentation and product listings on the project site. The approach treats privacy and consent management as primitives suitable for modern application architectures.
