Inqiro is an AI-powered chatbot designed specifically for WordPress websites, aiming to help site owners provide instant, accurate answers to visitor questions by leveraging the site's actual content. The tool addresses the challenge of users leaving websites when they cannot quickly find information, offering a solution that goes beyond traditional FAQ sections by responding to real visitor queries using the full breadth of the site's pages, posts, and WooCommerce products.

Installation is streamlined through a WordPress plugin, requiring no manual training or complex setup. Once activated, inqiro automatically crawls the website's content—including pages, posts, and WooCommerce product listings—and converts this information into AI-readable embeddings, all stored locally in the site's database. The chatbot widget is then displayed on the website, allowing visitors to ask questions and receive responses based strictly on the site's real content.

Key features include automatic content crawling, responses grounded only in the website's own data, and integration with WooCommerce for product recommendations, including price and description details. The chatbot's appearance—such as colors, position, name, avatar, and greeting—can be customized to fit the site's design. Inqiro also offers lead capture capabilities, collecting email addresses and contact details directly from chat interactions and storing them with conversation context.

Privacy and data protection are emphasized, with all chat data retained in the site's own WordPress database and no direct browser-to-AI-provider communication. AI requests are routed through a proxy server hosted in Germany, and data transfers to AI providers (OpenAI or Anthropic) are secured via the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses. The platform includes integrated consent dialogs, configurable data retention periods, and visitor-facing AI usage notices, aligning with German data protection standards.

Inqiro offers a free plan with up to 50 chats per month and two paid tiers: a Pro plan with 5,000 chats per month and additional features like lead capture and proactive messaging, and a Business plan with 20,000 chats per month, custom CSS, WooCommerce assistant, and the option to use a custom API key. There are no setup fees or contract commitments, and users can start without providing a credit card.
