TeamCopilot

TeamCopilot is an open-source tool for building automations with AI agents around personal and business workflows. It is meant to automate repetitive processes while keeping teammates involved in the run, and it supports creating workflows in plain English.

The product’s workflow starts in chat: a user describes what they want automated, and the agent asks follow-up questions, finds the right tools and people, and works out what needs approval. TeamCopilot then drafts a real automation as an always-on service, a scheduled job, or a workflow, using readable code, declared secrets, and persistent data. Before execution, nothing runs until it is approved. After that, each run is recorded with a full transcript that can be opened and inspected later.

Human approvals are built into the process. The site says every teammate has a profile covering what they own, what they know, and what they can approve, so the agent can ask the right person by name, including a finance lead or infrastructure engineer. Runs can pause mid-run to ask a question in chat or on Slack, then continue from the same line of code once a response arrives. Approved skills and automations become shared team infrastructure that teammates can use from the web or their phone, without terminal access, credentials, or local setup.

TeamCopilot connects through MCP servers, APIs, and CLIs, and the site says it can work with anything that has an API, a CLI, or an MCP server.
