GoFactoX E-Invoicing for WooCommerce is a plugin designed to automate the generation of electronic invoices that comply with French legal requirements and the European EN 16931 standard. Integrated directly into WooCommerce, it creates Factur-X invoices—PDF/A-3 files with embedded XML—automatically for each completed order and refund, ensuring that every transaction is documented according to current regulatory standards. GoFactoX produces files in Factur-X, CII, and UBL formats, validated against all 146 verapdf rules for PDF/A-3B compliance. The generated invoices include comprehensive seller identity, line item details, VAT breakdowns, late penalty and collection fee clauses, and mention of VAT exemption (article 293 B) where applicable. Buyer B2B information, such as SIRET and intra-community VAT number, is included if provided. The tool also facilitates compliance with French and European electronic invoicing platforms, producing files accepted by certified platforms (PA, ex PDP) like Iopole and Pennylane, without requiring users to switch their invoicing provider.

Users can access invoices from multiple locations: the WooCommerce admin, order list, customer account page, or as email attachments. Additional features include a dashboard with monthly statistics, filterable lists, bulk and retroactive generation, ZIP export, and FEC export for accountants. Customization options allow uploading a company logo, selecting Factur-X profiles (Basic or Comfort EN 16931), and activating watermarks for credit notes.
