Global Drop Sync

Global Drop Sync WooCommerce Connector is a WordPress plugin designed for WooCommerce store administrators who need to generate and manage secure REST API credentials for their online stores. Its primary function is to facilitate the connection between a WooCommerce store and external services, such as Global Drop Sync or other compatible WooCommerce REST API clients, by providing the necessary API keys and connection details. The tool is specifically aimed at administrators with permission to manage the WordPress site, ensuring that only authorized users can generate, share, or revoke API credentials.

This plugin operates entirely within the WordPress admin area. After installation, and once WooCommerce is active and HTTPS is enabled, administrators can generate REST API credentials—specifically, a Consumer Key, Consumer Secret, and Connection URL. These credentials are displayed within the WordPress admin, and remain stored locally in WordPress and WooCommerce until the administrator chooses to share them. The plugin allows for regeneration and revocation of API keys, providing control over which external services have access to the store. Importantly, the plugin does not create, update, or delete WooCommerce products, nor does it collect, import, or process any content, product data, reviews, images, or inventory from third-party websites. It also does not include or install a browser extension and does not perform automated data collection or send store data to Global Drop Sync or any other service unless an administrator manually shares the credentials.

To use the connector, administrators install the plugin, ensure WooCommerce is active and the site uses HTTPS, generate the API keys, and then manually provide the Connection URL to an authorized external service.
