Flooring Calculator

CalcuFloor is a web-based flooring calculator that determines exact box counts, cuts, waste, surplus, and cost based on a planned layout rather than area measurements alone. It addresses the need for accurate material planning in flooring projects involving real room shapes, product sizes, and floor plans before ordering materials, pricing jobs, or beginning installation.

Users draw or trace the room shape, including corners, cutouts, and irregular areas, or work from a reference plan or PDF. Product details such as plank or tile size, box or pack coverage, and price are entered next. The tool supports selection and adjustment of layout patterns including straight, staggered, herringbone, and diagonal arrangements, with controls for direction, offset, staggering, joints, spacing, and expansion gaps. It then generates counts, cuts, centerlines, waste, surplus, and cost figures, along with an optional Layout Report for quoting, client review, or installation reference.

The calculator applies to laminate, vinyl, LVP, hardwood, engineered wood, and tile products. Installers and contractors, including professional tilers, LVT contractors, and bespoke wood flooring specialists, use it to preview joint placement, determine precise quantities, manage surplus, set centerlines, and provide clients with layout documentation. Projects store the room shape, product settings, layout, quantities, and cost together, enabling access from any device without rebuilding plans.

No account is required to begin planning, though saved projects and paid features need registration. A monthly plan costs €13 while the yearly plan costs €156 and includes Layout Report generation, saved projects, exact material calculations, client-ready documentation, and faster quoting workflows.
