The platform automatically generates personalized daily digests every morning at 9 AM, highlighting important channel activities, action items, key decisions, and upcoming deadlines, filtered to focus on each user's working days. Echo Now AI identifies direct questions, requests for information or decisions, task assignments, deadline notifications, and unanswered questions requiring a response, while excluding general announcements and messages that have already been addressed. Users can also request on-demand summaries for specific channels, receiving comprehensive overviews of recent activities, including key topics and decisions.

Echo Now AI features an integrated AI chatbot that enables real-time, context-aware conversations within Slack. Users can ask the assistant questions about recent messages in any channel, with the tool referencing the last 50 messages (including replies) to provide accurate and relevant answers. For complex message threads, it delivers instant summaries to help users grasp the context quickly and contribute meaningfully. The assistant also supports Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing integration with external tools, databases, APIs, and services, thereby extending its utility beyond Slack messages and enabling natural language access to a broader range of data sources.

Privacy is a core consideration for Echo Now AI; the tool does not store message content, only metadata, ensuring that conversations remain secure and private. It is delivered as a Slack app that can be set up by connecting a Slack workspace and enabling app agents and assistants, with the Echo Now AI icon appearing in the Slack interface for direct access.

Echo Now AI offers a free plan suitable for individuals or small teams, which includes daily and on-demand summaries, thread summarization, and a limited number of chat messages with the assistant. An individual plan is available for a monthly fee, providing unlimited chat interactions and all features included in the free plan.
