Dexto

Dexto is a platform for deploying and managing AI agents designed to assist with tasks such as coding, research, and project management. It targets developers and teams seeking to collaborate with AI agents that can handle real work asynchronously, including coding tasks, research, and project updates, while maintaining user oversight through approval workflows.

The platform offers production-ready agent infrastructure, allowing users to deploy agent nodes on various environments, including laptops, servers, or the cloud. Dexto agents feature persistent memory, enabling them to remember codebases, user patterns, and previous work across sessions. Human-in-the-loop controls are emphasized: users can review changes, approve tool calls, and set guardrails before agents take action, ensuring that users retain control over what is shipped. Dexto supports integration with over 50 large language models, including local options such as Ollama, and allows users to switch providers without altering their workflow.

Dexto provides multiple interfaces for interaction. Users can work with agents through a command-line interface, a web user interface for quick tasks, and an API suitable for CI workflows. The platform also supports embedding agents in communication tools like Slack and Discord or within custom applications.
