CueNotch

CueNotch is a native teleprompter application for Mac designed to help users maintain natural eye contact during video calls, presentations, interviews, and content creation. The tool places a script close to the camera, allowing users to read their notes while appearing engaged and present to their audience. It is intended for professionals such as educators, presenters, and interviewees who need to deliver spoken content smoothly while keeping their focus on the camera.

A key feature of CueNotch is its voice-synced scrolling, which listens locally to the user's speech and automatically advances the script at the speaker's pace. When the user pauses, the script also pauses, supporting a natural delivery without the need for manual control or a fixed timer. CueNotch is designed to be private by default; it remains visible only to the user and is hidden from screen shares and recordings, including platforms like Zoom, Meet, Teams, Loom, and OBS. This privacy feature, referred to as Ghost Mode, ensures that notes and scripts are not visible to others during shared sessions. The application processes both scripts and voice input entirely on the user's Mac, without uploading data externally.

The platform includes a searchable script library, allowing users to organize scripts in folders, search, and quickly access the right script when needed. Additional features include an AI rehearsal coach for feedback, live captions, a script rewriting tool called Magic Polish, and a Memorize Mode to aid in practicing delivery. CueNotch supports both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs and requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later. For Macs without a notch, it uses a compact top-center overlay near the camera to maintain its core functionality.

CueNotch is available as a downloadable app from the Mac App Store. The free version provides three daily activations, support for scripts up to 100 words, voice scrolling, hotkeys, and an editor. 99 (with local pricing variations), unlocks unlimited scripts, advanced features, and priority support. All processing and script storage remain local to the device, emphasizing user privacy and data security.
