Crossary

Crossary is an AI source-to-target data mapping tool that produces reviewed mapping workbooks. It addresses the risk of incorrect mappings by generating every proposed row with its verbatim source quote and a self-rated confidence score, abstaining from guesses when no suitable source exists.

The tool accepts source specifications in formats including Excel, PDF, CSV, JSON, XML, XSD, SQL, and YAML. It analyzes these against a target schema and outputs a workbook in which each mapping is backed by the exact source text. High-confidence matches are presented with direct attribution, while uncertain items are explicitly flagged as gaps rather than inferred. The resulting workbook serves as implementation documentation that can be reviewed before any data movement occurs. Crossary maps specifications rather than live data instances, and user mappings are not used to train any shared model.

It is intended for integration and interface engineers who reconcile heterogeneous specifications such as PDF, XML, EDI-style guides, and Excel extracts to a target schema. Implementation and onboarding consultants also use it to convert a client's source materials into a reviewed workbook at the start of an engagement.
