Consenteer

Consenteer is a cookie consent management platform available as an official WordPress plugin. It addresses the need for websites to obtain and record visitor consent in line with data protection rules while integrating with advertising and analytics services.

The plugin adds a consent banner to a WordPress site without any changes to the theme. Setup consists of creating an account on my.consenteer.com, registering the site, and pasting the resulting Site ID into the plugin settings. It supplies buttons labeled Refuse, Customize, and Accept-all that carry equal visual weight, maintains records of consent, and allows visitors permanent re-access to their prior choice. The tool incorporates Google Consent Mode v2 signals for ad_storage, analytics_storage and similar parameters. It honors Global Privacy Control signals, performs automatic blocking of third-party scripts, and cleans up cookies that have been refused. All visual and functional customization, including formats, colors, light or dark theme selection, and support for multiple languages, occurs inside the cloud dashboard and requires no further changes or redeployment on the WordPress site.

The plugin is delivered through the official WordPress plugin directory and operates by embedding the banner code from the Consenteer service. It is intended for operators of WordPress websites who require documented compliance with GDPR, CNIL and related regulations.
