CitationRate AI Visibility offers a proprietary Citability Score, a 0–100 metric designed to evaluate how likely AI models are to cite a particular brand. This tool addresses the challenge of understanding and improving a brand's visibility and recognition within AI-generated content by providing a detailed analysis of what AI models can see and interpret about a brand. The Citability Score is broken down by major AI models, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, Grok, and Copilot, and is further analyzed across five macro-categories relevant to AI perception.

The platform operates in three main steps. Users input their brand name and up to five URLs for analysis. The system then performs a multi-layer crawl of the selected pages, extracting structured data, semantic signals, and authority markers. After processing, the tool delivers a global Citability Score as well as scores by individual AI model and macro-category.
