Cinetry

Cinetry is a local client audio and video player for media enthusiasts. It aggregates content from multiple media servers and sources while storing all data locally and uploading nothing to protect user privacy.

The application supports dozens of data sources including Jellyfin, Emby, CMS, Webdav, Subsonic, Navidrom, GD音乐台, audiobookshelf, 道理鱼, IPTV, Alist, Openlist, and 飞牛影视. Users import and synchronize libraries of movies, TV shows, music, pictures and other media. It provides one-click switching between saved server configurations with real-time connection status checks. An aggregated search queries multiple servers at once using conditions such as title, actor, director and year, with fuzzy matching, relevance sorting and filtering by type.

Cinetry runs on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux and TV platforms with a consistent modern interface, unified operation logic, support for dark and light modes, and adjustable font sizes. It offers offline caching for downloaded content, built-in decoding for various audio and video formats, and compatibility with HDR, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Parental controls allow granular restrictions by content type and rating along with password protection for sensitive material. The design is lightweight for fast startup and smooth playback even with multiple server connections. Customization options cover the interface, playback settings and data source prioritization.

All user data remains on the device. The player does not scan local files automatically and loads only manually imported sources, minimizing permission requests. It functions solely as a local player and media aggregator and provides no audio or video content itself. The latest version is v0.7.11.
