cgcone

cgcone is an open-source package manager designed specifically for managing AI command-line interface (CLI) extensions across multiple AI CLI tools. It addresses the challenge of deploying, auditing, and synchronizing MCP servers, plugins, skills, subagents, commands, and hooks for users who work with various AI CLIs such as Claude Code, Gemini CLI, OpenAI Codex, and Copilot CLI. By scanning a user's machine, cgcone detects all installed AI CLI tools and enables simultaneous deployment of compatible extensions to each, streamlining what would otherwise be a repetitive and manual process.

The platform features a unified marketplace with over 3,100 curated extensions, including more than 2,100 MCP servers, nearly 700 plugins, and over 200 skills and agents. Extensions in the registry are marked by verification status—verified, community, or experimental—providing transparency about their source and reliability. The marketplace is updated nightly from the official MCP registry and community contributions, ensuring a fresh and comprehensive selection. cgcone also provides a dashboard for users to audit all installed extensions across their AI CLIs from a single interface.
