The tool offers multiple embedding options, including a Gutenberg block for live preview and easy insertion, a floating "Book Now" button configurable in trigger, position, colors, and text, and shortcode support for use in pages, posts, or text widgets. It also provides native widgets for popular page builders like Elementor and WPBakery. The booking widget operates within a Shadow DOM, ensuring complete isolation from theme CSS and guaranteeing compatibility with any WordPress theme. Real-time availability is maintained through live calendar sync with the BookingMachine dashboard, respecting blocked dates, business hours, and team availability.

Additional features include a reviews widget that displays verified customer reviews with customizable count, theme, and layout, as well as auto-generated service pages and an analytics event bridge supporting GA4, GTM, and Facebook Pixel. The plugin's setup process is streamlined into four steps: installation, account connection via API key and business slug, and widget placement using the chosen embedding method. The appearance of the widget is customizable, inheriting brand colors and settings from the BookingMachine account, and the floating button's appearance can be configured directly from the WordPress settings page.

The WordPress plugin is offered completely free of charge, with no premium tier for the plugin itself. Booking limits and feature access are determined by the user's BookingMachine plan. Payments are handled through Stripe Connect, and there is no need for WooCommerce integration, though the plugin can coexist with WooCommerce without conflicts. The plugin also supports integration with Google Calendar, Wix, and provides webhooks and API access for further extensibility.
