Blogsmith API

Blogsmith API is a WordPress plugin designed to integrate Blogsmith's content creation and publishing tools directly into the WordPress admin interface. By installing the plugin, a WordPress site becomes a destination for Blogsmith-generated content, allowing users to write articles, generate images, brainstorm ideas, perform keyword research, and bulk-generate posts without leaving the WordPress environment. The plugin leverages native WordPress APIs, ensuring that all created posts, categories, and tags are standard WordPress entities, which maintains compatibility with other plugins such as SEO and analytics tools.

The plugin offers a streamlined pairing process, enabling users to connect their WordPress site to Blogsmith with a secure one-click handshake. Once connected, a dedicated Blogsmith menu appears within the WordPress admin sidebar, providing access to four main sections: Studio, Connection, Settings, and Advanced. The Studio serves as the primary workspace, supporting the generation of long-form, SEO-structured articles from a brief, direct publishing of generated images to the media library, topic and category brainstorming, bulk article creation, keyword research, author management, and a history log of generated content. The Connection page manages the link between the site and Blogsmith, including connection status and API details, with options for secure pairing, access control, and key regeneration for advanced use.

Advanced settings within the plugin allow for Google indexation management, custom header code insertion, and activating a maintenance mode. The plugin interface is available in English, Spanish, and Russian, automatically adapting to the site's language settings. 4 or newer, and it is recommended that sites use HTTPS for secure authentication.
